Nestled in the heart of Valeggio sul Mincio, Le Finestre Su Borghetto truly feels like a charming slice of history. My partner and I stayed in the delightful attic room, which was incredibly cozy with exposed wooden beams and a lovely view of the river that lulled us to sleep each night. Maria, the host, went above and beyond with her warm hospitality, pointing us toward local gems and delicious traditional spots where we indulged in the renowned Tortellini di Valeggio. Though the lively atmosphere kept us on our toes at night, the energy of this medieval hamlet was part of the experience. With the Mincio river flowing just outside our window and beautiful cycling paths leading us to nearby attractions, we found ourselves enchanted by the natural beauty surrounding us. Le Finestre Su Borghetto is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to adventure and history, making it ideal for anyone looking to dive into Italy's picturesque landscapes and rich culinary traditions. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate a blend of comfort and cultural immersion!
